Job summary

Cummins Inc. in India (Dewas) seeks a logistics coordinator to operate on-site, coordinating inbound, outbound, and kitting activities under guidance from Operations management.

You will receive, sort, label, pack and store goods, and optimize space while maintaining safety and quality. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with a preference for a two-year degree in business or engineering, and substantial logistics experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate operations for inbound, outbound, and kitting as directed by Operations management.
• Receive, sort, label, pack, store goods and optimize warehouse space.
• Operate manual and automated equipment to pick, pack and ship per customer expectations.
• Lead HSE training and enforce safety standards across the workforce.
• Perform quality checks for damage and for discrepancies between goods and invoices.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and support operator care tasks.
• Communicate effectively with team and support staff; drive process improvements.
