GE Vernova, Inc. in India invites a Process Simulations Engineer to design high-fidelity simulations of supply chains, operations, and market shifts, translating outputs into objective recommendations for capital allocation and lean improvement decisions.
You will build model architectures, conduct scenario analysis, and stress-test initiatives; translate insights into executive-ready guidance, support Kaizens, and validate models against production data to sustain accuracy.
The Process Simulations Engineer designs and maintains quantitative models to forecast business outcomes and stress-test strategic scenarios across GE Vernova's Greenfield and Brownfield capital projects. This role builds high-fidelity simulations of supply chains, operational workflows, and market shifts; uses them to quantify risk and project the impact of variables such as resource constraints, policy changes, or demand fluctuations; and translates simulation outputs into clear, objective recommendations that inform capital allocation and lean/continuous improvement decisions.
Model Architecture:
Develop high-fidelity simulations replicating complex business environments (supply chains, operational workflows, market/demand shifts) grounded in a detailed understanding of current-state (as-is) operations
Scenario Analysis:
Use models to stress-test initiatives, quantify risk, and project the impact of variables like resource constraints, OEE drift, or economic fluctuations.
Translating Insights:
Education
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
