Job summary

Carrier is seeking a Process Quality Engineer to drive process efficiency, reduce defects and improve reliability for HVAC/chiller operations. The role emphasizes quality audits, data-driven decision making and continuous improvements across manufacturing.

The candidate will participate in quality control activities, lead problem-solving circles and ensure compliance with QAPs while supporting customer satisfaction and product reliability.

Qualifications

• BE/BTech in Mechanical/Electronic engineering.
• 4-7 years of experience in process quality in chiller products.

Responsibilities

• Maintain highest level of quality through patrol quality and daily checks.
• Execute daily Quality checklist to ensure processes in place.
• Audit processes to ensure correct data capture at each Quality Gate.
• Manage non-conforming material and escalation workflows.
• Compile data for process quality and MIS reporting.
• Adhere to QAPs and certify processes.

About the role

This role is to improve process efficiency, reduce defects, ensure product reliability, enhance customer satisfaction, and drive continuous quality improvement across HVAC operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Process quality job role of maintaining highest level of quality through patrol quality,
• Execution of daily Quality checklist to ensure all processes in place.
• Process audit ensuring correctness of data capturing on each Quality Gate.
• Non-confirming material management process.
• Data compilation of process Quality and MIS
• Following QAPs and certifying processes.
• Problem solving for Defects identified on assembly lines and monitoring, drive Q circles
• Process improvement projects resulting in Quality product.
• Issue of Test certificates to customers as per requirement

Qualification & Skill

• BE/BTech in Mechanical/Electronic engineering
• Minimum of 4-7 Yrs experience in process quality in chiller products
