Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end process mining engagements — from scoping and data extraction through analysis, insight delivery, and continuous improvement recommendations
• Apply Infor Process Mining tool to perform process discovery, conformance checking, and performance analysis
• Extract, prepare, and validate event log data from source systems to build accurate process models
• Identify bottlenecks, rework loops, SLA breaches, and deviations from ideal process flows, and quantify their business impact
• Translate complex mining findings into clear, compelling narratives and actionable recommendations for client stakeholders
• Design and present process performance dashboards and KPI frameworks for client monitoring
• Collaborate with cross-functional client and internal teams to align insights with business goals
• Maintain trusted client relationships by providing ongoing advisory support and acting as a subject matter authority
• Stay current with trends, tools, and best practices in process mining and intelligent automation

Description

The Senior Consultant – Process Mining is a client-facing, data-driven consulting professional responsible for leading process mining engagements that uncover operational inefficiencies, validate process compliance, and drive measurable business improvement. This role leverages advanced process mining methodologies and tooling to analyze how business processes truly execute — not just how they are designed — and translates those insights into clear, actionable recommendations for clients. The Senior Consultant works closely with client stakeholders and internal delivery teams, mentors junior consultants, and ensures that every engagement delivers high-quality, insight-led outcomes on time and within scope.

A Typical Day in the Life Includes:

• Lead end-to-end process mining engagements — from scoping and data extraction through analysis, insight delivery, and continuous improvement recommendations
• Apply Infor Process Mining tool to perform process discovery, conformance checking, and performance analysis
• Extract, prepare, and validate event log data from source systems to build accurate and reliable process models
• Identify bottlenecks, rework loops, SLA breaches, and deviations from ideal process flows, and quantify their business impact
• Translate complex mining findings into clear, compelling narratives and actionable recommendations tailored to client stakeholders at all levels
• Design and present process performance dashboards and KPI frameworks that enable clients to monitor and sustain improvements
• Collaborate with cross-functional client and internal teams — including business analysts, IT, and operations — to align process insights with strategic business goals
• Maintain trusted client relationships by providing ongoing advisory support and acting as a subject matter authority throughout the engagement lifecycle
• Stay current with emerging trends, tools, and best practices in process mining and intelligent process automation

Basic Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience with Process Mining platforms (Celonis, SAP Signavio, ARIS, Apromore) and conducting full-cycle process mining engagements (discovery, conformance, performance analysis)
• Experience working with event log data, process flow analysis, and KPI-driven operational assessments
• Experience translating process mining insights into prioritized, business-relevant improvement recommendations
• Experience managing client relationships, facilitating workshops, and presenting findings to executive and operational stakeholders
• Experience delivering multiple concurrent engagements while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in Process Mining platforms (e.g., How to get data into Celonis, UiPath Process Mining, or equivalent)
• Experience working with data platforms, SQL, or ETL/data pipeline processes that support process mining data preparation and integration
• For candidates without direct Process Mining experience: a strong background in ERP implementations — with experience on Infor platforms (e.g., Infor LN, M3, FSM, Syteline or SX.e) strongly preferred — combined with a demonstrated interest in transitioning into process intelligence and mining practices
• Familiarity with Cloud Infrastructure or Cloud Applications (SaaS)
• Experience supporting organizational change management or business transformation programs
• Experience with project management methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid frameworks
• Experience with process automation or intelligent automation tools (RPA, AI-driven process insights) is a plus
