Responsibilities

Role Overview

We are looking for a Process Expert HRO Employee Data Management to support end-to-end Hire-to-Retire (H2R) HR Operations for a global client. The role will provide Tier-1 HR Helpdesk support, manage employee lifecycle transactions, and collaborate with global HR teams. German language proficiency at B2/C1 level is mandatory, along with experience in HR Shared Services and HR Operations.

HR Helpdesk Tier 1 Support

• Handle employee queries related to Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, Learning & Development, Timekeeping, Recruiting, Performance Management, and Workday transactions.
• Provide voice and non-voice support in German and English.
• Manage and resolve HR service tickets within defined SLA and TAT.
• Handle high-touch employee cases related to payroll, benefits, health and wellness, and other HR services.
• Escalate complex issues to appropriate HR teams when required.

Hire-to-Retire (H2R) Operations

• Process employee lifecycle transactions in Workday HCM.
• Support new hire onboarding, employee data updates, document verification, and background verification activities.
• Manage employee changes such as personal data, job information, organizational changes, and other H2R transactions.
• Support offboarding and exit processes, including documentation and workflow completion.

Learning & Development Operations

• Support end-to-end Learning Administration processes.
• Coordinate with employees, HR teams, and external learning vendors.
• Support learning event administration, vendor coordination, invoicing, and related activities.
• Maintain accurate learning and employee records.

Employee Data Management & Quality

• Maintain high standards of data accuracy, confidentiality, and quality.
• Ensure compliance with PII/data privacy and information security requirements.
• Monitor and meet defined SLA, TAT, productivity, and quality targets.
• Use tools such as ServiceNow, HR dashboards, knowledge bases, and HR systems to manage requests and transactions.

Continuous Improvement

• Identify process gaps and recommend improvements.
• Participate in process training, calibration sessions, governance reviews, and knowledge-sharing activities.
• Support standardization and improvement of HR Operations processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3 6 years of experience in HR Operations / HR Shared Services / Employee Data Management.
• German language proficiency B2/C1 mandatory.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Commerce, or a related discipline.
• Hands-on experience with at least one HR system such as:
• Workday
• ServiceNow
• SAP SuccessFactors
• Knowledge of Hire-to-Retire / Employee Lifecycle processes.
• Good understanding of HR Helpdesk and HR Shared Services operations.
• Strong communication, customer service, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to work in a global / multi-shift HR operations environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience supporting global clients.
• Exposure to Payroll, Benefits, Recruiting Operations, Learning & Development, and Timekeeping.
• Workday HCM experience or certification.
• Goethe / recognized German language certification.
• Experience working with ServiceNow HR Service Management.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will be a German-speaking HR Operations professional with hands‑on experience in HR Shared Services, H2R processes, Employee Data Management, Workday/ServiceNow/SuccessFactors, and Tier‑1 HR Helpdesk support. Strong German communication skills and experience supporting global employees will be highly preferred.
