Job Title: OTC Process Excellence Expert
Reporting to: OTC Process Excellence Lead
Purpose of the Role

The OTC Process Excellence Expert is responsible for delivering actionable insights into the efficiency and condition of OTC (Order-to-Cash) processes. This role involves identifying and driving opportunities for business and process enhancements in OTC operations. As a Subject-Matter-Expert in a specific OTC domain, the expert supports risk and compliance, process improvement, and transformation through data analysis, while also ensuring knowledge retention in related areas.

Key Tasks & Accountabilities
Main Accountabilities

Supports Actionable Oversight and Health-Check of KPIs and Processes:

  • Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends, outliers, and areas for improvement.
  • Provide insights into process health and efficiency to support decision‑making.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop action plans based on findings to optimize processes.
  • Design and create data models that support complex analysis and business process modeling.
  • Define roadmaps to fix broken processes or improve current processes to meet future expectations, in line with the Touchless Sales Order initiative.

Process Quality and Compliance Reviews:

  • Conduct monthly/quarterly reviews of OTC processes to assess quality and compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Identify areas of non‑compliance and develop remediation plans to address gaps.
  • Implement monitoring mechanisms to sustain process quality and compliance over time.

Supports Knowledge Retention and Trainings:

  • Facilitate knowledge‑sharing sessions and documentation efforts to retain institutional knowledge within the team.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to enhance the skills and capabilities of team members and stakeholders.

Proposing Functional Process Improvement Plans and Business Opportunities Based on Insights:

  • Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, standardization opportunities, and efficiency gains through data analysis and benchmarking, under the guidance of his/her manager.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to implement process enhancements and capitalize on business opportunities.
  • Perform and create best‑in‑class processes, map “AS IS” to “TO BE” to enhance and improve processes.

Supports Improvement of OTC End‑to‑End KPIs (Touchless / Cycle Time):

  • Own data quality in the Celonis dashboard.
  • Identify key opportunities for improvements and follow up on actions connected to process improvement with relevant stakeholders and teams.
  • Regularly report progress and improvements in monthly global/zonal governance forums.
Responsibilities, Requirements, Scope & Technical Skills
  • Working knowledge and experience in OTC processes.
  • Project management skill is a must.
  • Green Belt, Six Sigma Experience is Preferred.
  • Subject‑Matter‑Expert in one of the OTC sub‑processes:
  • Invoicing
  • Cash Applications
  • Collections and Short Payment
  • Discount & Deductions
  • Trade Investment & Bonus Management
  • Experience in data science and data modeling is an advantage.
  • Strong background in risk and control processes.
  • Understanding of both finance and commercial processes, as well as risk and compliance principles.
  • Quick learner with strong analytical skills; able to tackle complex issues and drive improvements using different analytical tools and data models.
  • Stress‑resistant with the ability to work on own initiative and prioritize workload effectively.
  • Ability to standardize processes and influence stakeholders.
  • Capable of implementing best practices.
Technical Skills
  • Excellent skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Proficient user of SAP Financial and Commercial modules.
  • Efficient usage of Power BI, Python, and other data analytics tools.
Education & Certifications
  • University Degree – bachelor’s degree in business studies, Finance, or Data Science.
  • Professional training or certification in a relevant business field, internal or external audit.
