Lead Hr Services is seeking a skilled professional in Chennai to lead project planning for new programs and equipment, with hands-on experience in IATF 16949 documentation, APQP, PFMEA, and process validation.

The role requires strong knowledge of cycle time studies, lean manufacturing, and line balancing, plus the ability to guide a team and drive improvements across safety, quality, productivity, and cost.

Qualifications

• Hands-on project planning experience for programs and new equipment development.
• Knowledge of IATF 16949 documentation, APQP, PFMEA, process capability, and process validation.
• Sound understanding of cycle time studies, process capability, line balancing, and lean manufacturing.
• Experience in guiding and supporting team members to achieve department objectives.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on experience in project planning for new programs and new equipment development as per requirements and timelines.
• Experience in IATF 16949 documentation, APQP, PFMEA, process capability, and process validation.
• Sound knowledge of cycle time studies, process capability, line balancing, and lean manufacturing.
• Experience in the design and development of jigs, fixtures, and dies (casting/stacking).
• Understanding and practical experience in electrical hardwiring circuits, including relay logic.
• Basic knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, circuit diagrams, and troubleshooting.
• Experience in assembly machine development, working with automation suppliers to achieve timelines and targets.
• Ability to manage, guide, and support team members to achieve departmental objectives.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Experience in process improvement related to safety, quality, productivity, and cost.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills for existing assembly lines and new lines.
• Innovative ideas for new machine development.
