Job description

The Process Engineer will be responsible for supporting technology services, process optimization, scale-up, troubleshooting, documentation, and manufacturing process improvement in the TSD department. This requires B-Tech Chemical qualification with 2–8 years of experience, strong understanding of chemical processes, plant operations, process safety, data analysis, and coordination with production, R&D, QA, QC, and engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Support process optimization, scale-up, technology transfer, and troubleshooting activities.
• Review process parameters, yield trends, batch performance, and operational challenges.
• Coordinate with R&D, production, QA, QC, engineering, and safety teams for process improvements.
• Prepare and review technical documents, process flow diagrams, reports, and batch data summaries.
• Support implementation of new processes, process modifications, and commercial batch execution.
• Identify root causes for process deviations, low yield, impurity issues, or operational failures.
• Recommend corrective actions to improve productivity, quality, safety, and process consistency.
• Monitor reaction conditions, equipment suitability, solvent recovery, and utility requirements.
• Participate in risk assessment, HAZOP, process safety reviews, and change control activities.
• Support validation, qualification, and trial batch documentation when required.
• Analyze process data and prepare technical presentations or improvement reports.
• Ensure process activities comply with GMP, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in reducing cycle time, cost, waste generation, and process inefficiencies.
• Provide technical support during plant troubleshooting and campaign execution.
• Contribute to reliable, scalable, and compliant API process operations.
