• Prepare proposals for new and existing products.
• Select processes to ensure yield, capacity, and quality.
• Finalize process, storage, utility, and treatment requirements with consultants.
• Support project manager in finalizing capital expenditures.
• Expedite long lead items and technical discussions with vendors.
• Review and approve process engineering deliverables.

Job description

Key Responsibility to be handled :

1. Process Engineer to oversee to design and implementation of processes for achieving the desired business target in stipulated timelines.
2. Understand Agro chemical formulation process with R&D team or improvement team.
3. Should have through knowledge of safety and risk assessment methodologies like HAZOP, HIRA, HAC, JSA etc.
4. Scale process from R&D to plant scale with suitable technology and consideration of process safety in to the account.
5. Prepare the proposal for upcoming new products and existing product expansion with detailed mass balance, energy balance.
6. Select correct process to ensure the yield, capacity and quality to be achieved as per R&D process.
7. Prepare and work out BEP with consultant. Finalize & freezes process, storage, utility requirement, effulent treatment scope.
8. Prepare and support project manager to finalize capex.
9. Support project manager to expedite long lead items and technical discussion with vendors.
10. Review and approve all process engineering deliverables developed by detailed engineering consultant e.g. PDS, P&IDs, MB, EB, Hydraulic calc, Equipment layout, equipment sizing etc.
