Job summary

Aragen Life Sciences Limited in Visakhapatnam is seeking a skilled Process Development/Technology Transfer professional to drive scale-up from R&D to pilot and commercial manufacturing.

You will perform mass and energy balances, PFDs/P&IDs reviews, and collaborate with QA/QC, Manufacturing, R&D, and EHS teams to optimize processes and reduce costs while ensuring process safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in Process Development/Technology Transfer in Pharma/Chemical industries.
• Strong understanding of process engineering and process safety.
• Experience in pilot plant and commercial manufacturing support.

Responsibilities

• Technology transfer from R&D/kilo lab to pilot and commercial scale.
• Process scale-up evaluation and feasibility assessment.
• Perform mass & energy balance, heat load, line sizing, and PSV/vent sizing calculations.
• Use DynoChem or similar tools for process modeling and scale-up studies.
• Prepare and review PFDs, P&IDs, HAZOP, PHA, compatibility reports, and technical documentation.
• Review process safety studies (RC1e, thermal screening, powder safety, etc.).
• Execute pilot and commercial batches and support plant troubleshooting.
• Drive process optimization, debottlenecking, productivity improvement, and cost reduction initiatives.
• Conduct FMEA and risk assessments.
• Collaborate with QA, QC, Manufacturing, R&D, and EHS teams.
