Job summary

Worley is seeking a Process Designer Level I (HYD01AR) in Hyderabad to support the execution of process design and drafting activities under Worley standards. You will assist engineers and senior designers in developing high-quality deliverables and learn to use design tools and workflows.

We value hands-on drafting experience, familiarity with AS1100 and SPID, and the ability to operate in multidisciplinary project environments, including offshore oil & gas/EPC contexts, while growing

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Engineering Technology (Chemical/Process) or related field.
• Understanding of discipline engineering standards and design practices.
• Familiarity with drafting standards (e.g., AS1100 or equivalent).
• Hands-on drafting/Process design documentation experience.
• Exposure to offshore oil & gas and EPC projects is advantageous.
• Experience working in multi-disciplinary project environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support execution of process design and drafting activities in line with Worley standards.
• Prepare and deliver process design drawings and documentation per project requirements.
• Back-draft drawings from engineers' and senior designers' mark-ups.
• Assist in developing conceptual layouts and basic engineering diagrams.
• Generate drawings using 3D intelligent modeling tools and databases.
• Perform self-checking of drawings to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Support preparation of Material Take-Offs (MTOs).
• Maintain and organize project drawings, files, and records.
• Adhere to Worley quality standards, procedures, and design practices.

The Role

As aProcess Designer Level Iwith Worley, you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience etc.

• To support the execution of process design and drafting activities in line with Worley standards and project requirements. The role involves assisting engineers and designers in developing high-quality design deliverables, while building competency in process design tools, systems, and workflows.
• Prepare and deliver process design drawings and documentation as per project requirements.
• Back-draft drawings based on mark-ups provided by Engineers and Senior Designers.
• Assist in developing conceptual layouts and basic engineering diagrams.
• Generate drawings using 3D intelligent modeling tools and databases.
• Perform self-checking of drawings to ensure accuracy and quality compliance.
• Support preparation of Material Take-Offs (MTOs).
• Maintain and organize project drawings, files, and records.
• Adhere to Worley quality standards, procedures, and design practices.

About You

To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes:

• Diploma / Degree in Engineering Technology (Chemical / Process or relevant discipline).
• Understanding of discipline-specific engineering standards, codes, and design practices.
• Familiarity with process design documentation and its role in project execution.
• Basic knowledge of relevant drafting standards (e.g., AS1100 or equivalent).
• Hands-on experience with AutoCAD / MicroStation / SmartPlant P&ID (SPP&ID).
• Exposure to 3D modeling tools / databases.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of drawing office deliverables and workflows.
• Exposure to offshore oil & gas / EPC projects.
• Experience working in multi-disciplinary project environments.
