Employment Type

Full-time, long-term placement (split shift covering lunch and dinner; live-in or live-out, depending on the household)

Compensation

₹30,000 – ₹35,000 per month, based on profile and experience

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and versatile Private Chef to prepare freshly cooked lunch and dinner every day for a couple at their Gurugram residence. This is a small, high-standards household where food is a daily pleasure — you will plan the menus, source the finest ingredients, and deliver wholesome, beautifully presented meals tailored to the couple's tastes, dietary needs and lifestyle. It is a role for a chef who takes pride in consistency, cleanliness and quiet professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare fresh lunch and dinner daily for the couple, as per their schedule and preferences

Plan rotating weekly and monthly menus, keeping meals interesting, seasonal and nutritionally balanced

Cook for occasional small dinners and guests hosted at the residence

Manage the kitchen end to end: inventory, grocery sourcing and daily fresh-market shopping, vendor relationships and hygiene standards

Accommodate dietary requirements: vegetarian/Jain preferences, allergies, religious guidelines and health-directed meal plans

Maintain impeccable cleanliness, food safety and organisation in the client kitchen at all times

Coordinate discreetly with household staff, where applicable

Culinary Expertise Required

Multi-cuisine proficiency: Indian (regional specialities), Continental, Asian and Mediterranean cooking

Strong grounding in Indian regional cuisines — from Punjabi, Mughlai and North Indian to Rajasthani/Marwari, Gujarati and South Indian cooking

Gourmet home-style presentation — fresh, well-plated meals with attention to texture, flavour balance and portioning for two

Health-focused cooking: calorie-counted, macro-balanced, keto, paleo, ayurvedic and other physician/nutritionist-prescribed diets

Comfort with international techniques: grilling, baking, pasta-making and salads/cold kitchen work

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of professional culinary experience — in hotels, fine-dining restaurants, catering companies or private households

Prior experience as a private/home chef for families is a strong plus

Culinary degree or diploma (hotel management / culinary arts) preferred, though exceptional experience can substitute

Discretion, confidentiality and polished personal presentation — non-negotiable for this client base

Fluent communication in Hindi; good English is a plus

Comfortable with a split-shift schedule covering lunch and dinner, including weekends and festival periods

Valid identity documents, background verification readiness and references from previous employers

Gurugram / Delhi NCR-based candidates preferred
