Job description

Printer Relationship Management Associate Level 1: Fresh Prints is a New York-based custom apparel company helping thousands of student entrepreneurs build successful businesses across the United States. Behind every order is a network of 80+ production partners who print and ship custom apparel to our customers. Our Printer Relationship team ensures those printers/vendors consistently deliver high-quality products on time while maintaining an exceptional customer experience. We're looking for someone who enjoys solving complex operational problems, building strong relationships, and improving processes at scale. If you thrive in fast-paced environments, love taking ownership, and enjoy working across multiple teams to make operations run smoothly, you'll fit right in.

About the Role

As a Printer Relationship Management Associate , you'll own relationships with a portfolio of printers/vendors across the United States. You'll work closely with printers to ensure every order moves through production successfully. No two days are the same here. One day you'll be solving a production issue with a printer, and the next you'll be coordinating inventory, helping recover a delayed order, improving a process, or working with Tech to eliminate manual work. Your success will be measured by your ability to drive top performance from your portfolio of printers by building strong relationships, reducing operational issues, and continuously improving how we work.

What You'll Do
Vendor Relationship Management

Build long-term relationships with printer/production partners through regular monthly performance calls, emails, and other day-to-day communication through different channels, becoming their trusted point of contact. Support vendors/printers with operational, production, and logistics-related questions. Partner with vendors to improve order quality, turnaround time, and overall operational performance. Drive accountability while maintaining strong working relationships.

Order & Production Management

Coordinate production timelines and resolve order delays before they impact customers. Reallocate production orders to make sure your printers are not overloaded. Assign or reschedule the entire order schedule for your printer in case of emergency shutdowns. Coordinate garment procurement from suppliers and ensure vendors receive inventory on time.

Cross-functional Collaboration

Partner with Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, Product, and Tech teams to resolve issues quickly. Keep internal teams and external stakeholders informed of production updates that impact customers. Share feedback with internal teams to improve vendor experience and operational efficiency.

Process Improvement

Identify recurring operational issues and recommend long-term solutions. Identify automation opportunities and improve existing workflows to make operations more scalable. Take ownership of projects that improve team performance, vendor experience, or operational efficiency.

What We're Looking For
Experience

2+ years of experience in Operations, Vendor Management, Supply Chain, Customer Success, Account Management, or a similar relationship management role. Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Skills

Excellent written communication and stakeholder management skills. Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities. High emotional intelligence and relationship-building skills. Strong problem-solving and decision‑making skills. Comfortable working with spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets).

What Makes Someone Successful Here

Your printers trust you as their primary operational partner. Your printers consistently deliver high‑quality orders on time with minimal operational issues. You use data to identify trends, solve recurring problems, and prevent future issues. You continuously improve processes to reduce manual work and increase operational efficiency. You support your manager in delivering the projects from the idea initiation through implementation. This is not a transactional support role that focuses merely on tickets and response times. Success comes from building long‑term partnerships with printers, proactively identifying risks, and continuously improving operational performance.
