Job summary

SonicWall in India seeks a senior dataplane developer to shape high‑performance networking software for NGFW platforms. You will design, implement, and optimize dataplane paths, work with cross‑functional teams, and influence architectural directions to meet security and performance goals.

The role demands deep expertise in C/C++, DPDK/ODP/OFP, and L3/L4 networking, with a track record of delivering robust, scalable networking solutions in embedded or OS‑level environments.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in C/C++ systems-level development for networking or embedded platforms.
• Hands-on expertise in DPDK, ODP, OFP, or similar high-performance packet-processing frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of L3/L4 networking protocols (IPv4/IPv6, routing, NAT, VPN/IPsec/SSL).
• Strong understanding of OS internals, memory and concurrency models, and network stack behaviour.
