Job summary

Moody’s Insurance Solutions in Noida, India, is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to drive the design and delivery of large-scale software systems across multiple teams. You will shape long-term technical strategy and ensure alignment with business objectives and customer outcomes.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience delivering complex, large-scale, multi-team initiatives with measurable business impact.
• Strong expertise in Java, Scala, C#, C++, or Python, with extensive experience building scalable APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Deep knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, cloud-native technologies, containerized applications, and modern software architecture.
• Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, performance optimization, scalability, reliability, and security best practices.
• Proven ability to influence technical strategy, lead organizational change, mentor engineering teams, and drive cross-functional alignment.
• Demonstrated commitment to engineering excellence through testing, observability, system health monitoring, and continuous improvement practices.
