Job summary

Medtronic in Hyderabad seeks a Principal Software DevOps Engineer to design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for web, desktop, and mobile applications, automating build, signing, packaging, and release processes. You will collaborate with development teams to optimize deployment and drive reliability across platforms.

The role requires strong AWS, IaC, and containerization experience, plus scripting skills and familiarity with Windows and Linux environments.

Qualifications

• :Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, ComputerScienceor a related technical field with13+ years of engineering experience.
• :Strong experience with AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, etc.).
• :Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• :Proficiencyin CI/CD tools such asJenkins,GitLab CI.
• :Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms such asKubernetes.
• :Experience supporting desktop or mobile application builds
• :Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• :Familiarity with Windows and Linux operatingsystems.
• :Hands-on experience with version control systems like Git.
• :Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Nice toHave
• Experience in monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or CloudWatch.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps.
• Familiarity with mobile application deployment processes (iOS/Android).
• Experienceinmedical device industry (or other regulated industry)
• Experience with Security and Risk analysis

A Day in the Life

As principal Software DevOps Engineer, you will design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for web, desktop, and mobile applications. Automates build, release, and deployment processes using tools such as Azure DevOps, Git, and AWS. Collaborates with development teams to improve deployment efficiency, monitors system reliability and performance, and implements security best practices.
