Job summary

Onward Technologies is seeking a Principle SME - Embedded with 15+ years of experience for Chennai, India, working from office. The role focuses on solution architecture, pre-sales, client demos, and end-to-end delivery governance within the automotive space.

You will lead cross-functional teams, drive scoping and estimation, manage risk, and ensure successful implementation of ADAS, IVI, SDV and OTA updates for connected vehicle programs.

Qualifications

• Experience: Principle SME - Embedded with 15+ years in Chennai (WFO).
• Strong capability in scoping, estimation and governance for delivery.
• Deep automotive knowledge across ADAS, IVI, Powertrain, SDV and connected vehicles.

• Technical Credibility, Scoping & Estimation
• Delivery & Execution Oversight, Risk Mitigation
• Handover & Implementation, Technical Governance
• Escalation & Problem Solving, Client Expectation Management
• Cross-Functional Bridge (Sales Delivery) [1]

• Deep domain knowledge in Automotive Engineering, including ADAS, IVI, Powertrain (PWT), Software Defined Vehicle (SDV), Connected Vehicles, and OTA (Over-the-Air) Updates.

Strong understanding of emerging automotive technologies such as Connected Car Platforms, Vehicle Connectivity, Telematics, Cloud-Enabled Vehicle Services, AI-driven Engineering, and E/E Architecture Transformation
