Job summary

Danlaw Hyderabad is seeking a Senior Engineer with 5–7 years of embedded software experience. You will work on automotive electronics using 16/32-bit ARM Cortex MCUs, develop drivers, and participate in hardware bring-up.

Responsibilities include implementing CAN/CAN FD and LIN protocols, MISRA C coding, and debugging using various embedded tools. You will collaborate across teams and contribute to high‑quality automotive solutions.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of embedded software development experience.
• Strong C programming skills for 16/32‑bit MCU platforms.
• Experience with ARM Cortex MCU families (STM32/NXP/ESP32/etc.).
• Hands-on with CAN/CAN FD and LIN automotive protocols.
• Familiar with MISRA C and hardware bring-up tasks.

Responsibilities

• Develop embedded software in C for automotive electronics.
• Work with 16/32-bit MCUs and various peripherals (SPI, I2C, UART, USB, Ethernet).
• Participate in hardware bring-up, schematic review and debugging.
• Implement and debug bootloaders, drivers and middleware.
• Collaborate using Jira, DOORS and version control (Git/SVN).
• Ensure coding standards and quality through reviews.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team.

Role & responsibilities

• 5-7 years of experience in Embedded Software Development using C Programming language.
• Expertise in 16/32-bit microcontrollers ARM Cortex based, STM32, NXP, ESP32, Renesas.
• Expertise in Low level drivers SPI, I2C, UART, ADC, USB, Ethernet, Board bring up activity, exp in analyzing hardware schematics and datasheets.
• Expertise in Automotive protocols Drivers and Interface Development (CAN, CAN FD, LIN).
• Knowledge of GSM, GPRS, GPS; communication protocols - TCP/IP, UDP, http,..
• Expertise in Automotive products like Vehicle Controller, Infotainment, Cluster, Telematics, Connected Car, Cameras & other Automotive Electronics.
• MISRA C or other Coding standards.
• Ability to understand schematics and implement accordingly. Take part in hardware level debugging.
• Hands on with various embedded compilers and debuggers.
• Good Hands-on Knowledge on Bug Tracking Tool (E.g. Jira), Requirement Management Tool (E.g. DOORS) and Version Control Tools (E.g. SVN or GIT).
