JOB DESCRIPTION

Key Responsibilities

• Handling of multiple projects and leading the team of 10-30 chemists.
• Preparation of weekly updates for the ongoing projects and communication with clients in Telecoms.
• Synthesis, purification and characterization of novel chemical compounds.
• Literature search for the synthetic routes of compounds.
• Coordination with analytical laboratory and other cross-functional departments.
• Work collaboratively in a team to drive chemistry projects forward.
• To ensure Good Laboratory Practices & compliance in the lab.
• Ensure to participate in SOP training and other departmental training on time-to-time basis.
• Management of solvents, standards, reagents and chemicals available in the lab.
• Follow EHS and quality SOPs in day-to-day operations.
• Deliver small to large quantities of novel chemical entities for drug discovery & development.
