Job summary

KBR Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) invites a Senior Principal Designer to lead piping design on onshore projects, ensuring integrity while managing execution. The role emphasizes coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams and guiding junior designers.

Candidates should have a Diploma in Mechanical or Chemical engineering and deep skills in S3D, AutoCAD, and MicroStation, plus strong ISO checks, layout studies, and MTO preparation. 15–20 years of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
• Expertise in S3D, AutoCAD and MicroStation.
• Strong knowledge of support selection and modelling.
• Experience with conceptual layout study and ISO checks.
• Ability to guide junior designers and communicate effectively.
• 15–20 years of piping design experience.

Principal Designer - Piping

KBR is looking for Principal Designer who possess experience in working within the piping design team on onshore projects and ensuring piping design integrity is not compromised while managing the execution of the project.

Qualifications and Skills

Candidate should be a Diploma in Mechanical / Chemical Excellent knowledge in S3D, MS Office, AutoCAD & MicroStation. Good knowledge in mechanical handling concepts Good knowledge of support selection and modelling. Special support drawing creation is preferable Good knowledge in ISO checking and back drafting and support ISO team on project needs Excellent skill to guide young designers Good knowledge in conceptual layout study Good Communication skills 15 - 20 years of experience in above skills & responsibilities Knowledge in PML macros development will be considered an added advantage.
