Job description

The Principal Officer plays a crucial role in gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data to provide key insights and strategic recommendations for the organization. They are responsible for conducting in-depth research, utilizing various data collection methods and analytical techniques to produce valuable market, industry, and competitive intelligence. The role requires exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities from complex datasets. They will collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams to deliver data‑driven insights that drive informed decision‑making and enable the company to maintain a competitive edge in the market.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough and accurate research on market trends, customer preferences, and industry developments
• Track Indian and US market closely and advice client’s accordingly on his/her portfolio
• Create portfolio of clients basis clients requirement and monitor performance over time.
• Create comprehensive reports and presentations based on research findings
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of products, services, or initiatives through data analysis
• Stay updated with latest research methodologies and industry best practices
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency in research activities
• Comply with SEBI norms at all time as Principal Officer of Registered Investment Advisory firm

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field
• Mandatory certifications -NISM XA and XB
• Proven experience as a Research Analyst or Portfolio Manager or Fund Advisors or a similar role for minimum 5 years
• Strong understanding of Indian capital market and instruments like stocks, mutual funds, and other instruments
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data interpretation
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment
