Job summary

Cleo is seeking a Principal Implementation Engineer for its Professional Services team in Bengaluru. The role focuses on delivering EDI/B2B integrations, API integration, and solution architecture for Cleo cloud customers.

You will design integration patterns, develop EDI maps, and coordinate with trading partners to ensure robust, scalable implementations. Strong communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience with EDI integration products.
• Strong knowledge of ANSI X12 and EDIFACT standards.
• Experience with XML, flat files and spreadsheets.
• Experience with AS2, FTP/S, SFTP, HTTP/S transfer protocols.
• Experience with REST APIs.
• Strong SQL query and performance tuning skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; team player.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer business requirements and translate them into technical designs.
• Architect integration patterns and solution architecture for Cleo cloud customers.
• Develop EDI maps and associated business processes.
• Set up communications with trading partners (AS2, SFTP).
• Create unit test plans and perform testing (unit, SI, UAT).
• Conduct performance testing for high-volume customers and optimize integrations.
• Prepare go-live and warranty support plans.
• Document support procedures and transition projects to support teams.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure top-quality customer support.
• Own issues end-to-end until resolution and manage multiple projects.

The Position

Cleo is looking for a Principal Implementation Engineer to join our Professional Services team to provide implementation and consulting services to our customers. Ideal candidates must possess strong knowledge on working with EDI/B2B integration products, EDI mapping, business process orchestration and communication protocols like AS2, SFTP etc., API integration, designing integration patterns and solution architecture.

What You Will Be Doing

• Work with customers to understand the business requirements.
• Architecture design for Cleo cloud customers.
• Develop EDI maps and business processes.
• Create communication setups with trading partners for AS2, SFTP.
• Create Unit test plan and perform unit testing.
• Assist with System Integration testing and User Acceptance testing and resolve issues.
• Conduct performance testing for high volume customers and fine tune integrations to achieve desired performance.
• Create support documentation and transition the project to support.
• Create go-live plan and warranty support plan.
• Work effectively with other internal departments to ensure the highest level of support for customers.
• Exhibit a sense of ownership of customer systems and work on issues until completely resolved
• Handle multiple projects simultaneously within established time constraints

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience with any of the EDI integration products.
• Good understanding of ANSI X12 and EDIFACT standards.
• Experience with XML, Flat Files and Spreadsheets
• Experience with transfer protocols that AS2, FTP/s, SFTP, HTTP/s
• Experience working with REST API.
• Good understanding of SQL queries and joins.
• Good understanding of performance tuning.
• Team player with good written and verbal Communication skills
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
