Job summary

Wipro Limited is seeking an experienced EDI Integration Engineer to design, develop, and support EDI/B2B integrations using Cleo EEI/Harmony and ExtolEDI. The role involves integration across XML/JSON, AS2 and API-driven interfaces on IBM i (AS/400) platforms, with strong SQL and scripting skills.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to deliver reliable, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in EDI/B2B integrations (ANSI X12, EDIFACT, XML, JSON, flat files)
• EDI mapping, translation & data transformation across formats
• Experience with AS2, SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS, OFTP, VAN connectivity
• Proficiency in API integrations (REST/SOAP) and hybrid EDI-API solutions
• SQL, Linux/Unix, scripting (Python, Java, JavaScript, Shell)
• Experience in onboarding trading partners and end-to-end integration lifecycle in Agile environments

Job Description

Must-Have Skills – EDI Integration Engineer (5 + years of hands‑on experience)
Strong experience in EDI/B2B integrations, including ANSI X12, EDIFACT, XML, JSON, flat files, and key transaction sets such as 850, 856, 810, and 997/999.

Hands‑on expertise with EDI platforms such as Cleo EEI / Cleo Harmony , ExtolEDI solutions, IBM i (AS400/iSeries), Boomi.

Proficiency in EDI mapping, translation, and data transformation between EDI, XML, JSON, and other enterprise data formats.

Experience with B2B communication protocols including AS2, SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS, OFTP, and VAN connectivity.

Strong knowledge of API integrations, REST/SOAP web services, and hybrid EDI-API integration solutions.

Good understanding of SQL, Linux/Unix, scripting (Python, Java, JavaScript, Shell), and troubleshooting production integration issues.

Experience in trading partner onboarding, production support, monitoring, issue resolution, and end-to-end integration lifecycle management within Agile environments

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain, and support applications on the IBM i (AS400) platform.
• Develop and enhance programs using RPGLE, RPG Free, and CLP.
• Analyze existing code, perform debugging, and implement performance improvements.
• Design and optimize SQL queries, including embedded SQL within RPG programs.
• Support EDI transaction processing and resolve integration‑related issues.
• Monitor and troubleshoot batch jobs, job queues, subsystems, and file transfer processes.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to understand requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, production support, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide technical documentation and knowledge transfer to team members.
