Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Principal Engineer - Transportation Planning in Bengaluru, open to Bangalore & Gurugram. You will lead complex planning studies, evaluate plans, and advise senior leadership on planning issues. Strong modelling skills with PED/AIMSUN/VISSIM/VISUM are essential.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Transport Planning/Engineering or related subject.
• 10–15 years of relevant experience in transport planning and modelling.
• Strong proficiency in PED Modelling, AIMSUN, VISSIM, VISUM.
• Working toward chartered status (ICE / CIHT / TPS) preferred.
• Familiarity with UK/US/ANZ/Middle East transport modelling guidance (e.g., NPPF, DfT Guidance, Local Plans).
• Mentor and support junior engineers.

Job Description
