Job summary

AECOM is seeking a senior technical resource in Bengaluru to lead highway design activities, advise the team, and contribute to cost estimates and PS&E packages. The role requires extensive ORD, Civil 3D, AutoCAD and MicroStation proficiency, with global project experience and strong quality processes.

Qualifications

• 12–15 years experience in highways/roadway/motorways design.
• Preferably worked on UK/US/NA-Canada/ME/ANZ regional projects.
• Global design experience in international projects.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MicroStation; ORD/Civil 3D must.
• Highway rehab design, land development, traffic management plans.
• Quality processes for project delivery; BIM exposure.
• CDE awareness.

Job Description

• Senior technical resource may serve as technical advisor for team
• Provides specialized technical input to studies and design for staff's specific area of expertise.
• Develops study and design procedures to facilitate high quality cost effective work by others.
• Participates in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables.
• Develops construction cost estimates and estimates of technical efforts for projects.
• Uses expertise in all steps of completing discipline component of PS&E package.
• Performs quality control review of design calculations or drawings.
• Prepares technical specification sections.
• Provides input to the development of engineering budget and schedule to meet requirements.

Qualifications

• Engineers with 12 to 15 years experience in highways/Roadway/motorways design with ORD -(Open Roads Design) and Civil 3D software
• Should have preferably worked on UK/US projects /NA -Canada/ME/ANZ Regional projects using different codal standards and guidelines.
• Should have Preferably worked on Global design experience and worked for international projects in collaborative environment
• Software proficiency in AutoCAD/MicroStation (2d design exp) and ORD/ Civil 3D is a must
• Should have worked for highway/rehab related design & modelling, land development, traffic management plans, Junctions, Road Signs & Markings
• Quality process, procedures, implementation for delivery of projects
• Highway related BIM exposure, CDE awareness.
