Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Serve as a creator and standard-bearer for processes and procedures in ITIL-based incidents, changes, requests and problems.
• Coordinate, prioritize, and coach technical delivery teammates to meet service levels.
• Respond effectively to sensitive inquiries or complaints and interpret technical documentation.
• Maintain familiarity with ITSM tools like ServiceNow and observability tools.

Job Summary

Supervisors are the on-duty member of management in a 24x7 technical support organization. Must be able to handle and distribute work assignments according to priority, and ensure efficient and effective delivery of work related outcomes according to established service level agreements and internal processes and procedures.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Serve as a creator and standard-bearer for processes and procedures related to best-in-class managed network delivery of ITIL functions for Incident, Change, Request, and Problem management.
• Effectively respond to sensitive inquiries or complaints; read, analyze and interpret general business/professional documentation, procedures, or regulations.
• Demonstrated knowledge of ServiceNow or other similar ITSM tools, nCentral or other remote access tools, and Skylar One or other similar enterprise observability tools.
• Must be able to efficiently coordinate, prioritize, assign, and coach technical delivery teammates in the conduct of work, ensuring adherance to standard service levels.

Key Technical Skills

• Bachelors degree or higher, focusing on IT, System Administration, or other related studies.
• Three or more years of experience in supervisory role, in a high-tech environment, preferrably in a network operations center, or equivalent.
• Able to amicably respond to customer escalations and provide work direction to on-shift teammates. Will function as the first level of escalation.
• Working knowledge of key server and related systems and technologies to include Windows Server, Linux, VMWare Suite (VCF), Proxmox, Red Hat OpenShift, Hyper-V, Nutanix, Exchange and Active Directory.
