Job summary

UnitedLex Repario is seeking an experienced storage and virtualization specialist to lead, implement, and maintain enterprise storage infrastructure. You will manage NetApp, EMC Isilon, and Dell PowerStore environments, oversee SAN/NAS networks, and support VMware-based virtualization across global teams.

The role requires deep expertise in Linux administration, storage provisioning, performance optimization, and DR readiness, with strong communication and problem-solving skills across time

Qualifications

• BS/B Tech in computer science, information systems or systems engineering.
• 10+ years in IT with storage-focused experience.
• Experience with NetApp block/File storage systems (5+ years).
• Experience with EMC Isilon storage system (5+ years).
• Dell PowerStore experience (3+ years).
• 5+ years of SAN/NAS implementation and administration.
• 3+ years Linux administration.
• Strong virtualization experience (VMware).
• ITILv3 certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure implementation and maintenance of defined configuration standards.
• Upgrade, install, manage, and troubleshoot storage infrastructure.
• Provision new virtual servers and storage resources; expand volumes.
• Decommission virtualization and storage resources as needed.
• Analyze and troubleshoot performance issues; produce capacity reports.
• Assist with data center facility management; vendor coordination for hardware issues.
• Participate in annual DR testing; maintain documentation.

REQUIREMENTS & COMPETENCIES:

• BS/B Tech in computer science, information systems or systems engineering
• 10+ years’ experience in IT industry including:
• 5+ years of experience working with Netapp block/File storage systems.
• 5+ years of experience working with EMC ISILON storage system.
• 3+ years of experience working with Dell PowerStore
• 5+ years of storage networking SAN/NAS implementation and administration
• 3+ years of experience in a virtualization and systems administration environment
• 3 + Years of experience in Linux administration.
• Experience in the support of Dell-EMC ISILON hardware and software solutions.
• Experience in the support of NetApp hardware and software solutions including AFF, FAS,, cluster OnTap, Netapp cloud volume, Flexgroup.
• Experience in managing the encryption ( On-board and external) with Netapp.
• Experience in managing fiber channel based SAN fabrics using Brocade and/or Cisco SAN switches.
• Experience in the support of Dell Power store storage.
• Experience in NAS data migration using tool like robocopy, ndmpcopy etc.
• Experience in NAS protocols including CIFS and NFS.
• Experience with Dell Power store.
• Strong knowledge and experience with VMware server virtualization technologies; VCP certification a plus.
• Strong knowledge and experience with Linux operating system; Linux certification a plus.
• Advanced troubleshooting skills with Linux servers and Linux based applications.
• Knowledge and experience with VDI solutions a plus.
• Coordinate work with multi-cultural and multiple time zone teams.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• ITILv3 certification is a plus

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensures successful implementation and maintenance of the defined configuration standards.
• Upgrading, installing, managing, and troubleshooting storage infrastructure.
• Provision new virtual servers as needed.
• Provision new storage resources and expand existing volumes as needed.
• Decommission virtualization and storage resources as needed.
• Analyzing and troubleshooting of performance issues.
• Perform capacity reporting as needed.
• Assist with data center facility management
• Coordinate with vendor for replacement and resolution of failed hardware.
• Participation in annual DR testing exercises
• Maintain and create documentation as required.
