Job summary

Infosys is seeking a seasoned Storage Administrator to design, deploy, and manage Isilon, PowerVault, and PowerFlex solutions. You will collaborate with infra and application teams, support migrations, and ensure data protection and DR readiness.

The role requires strong skills in NAS/SAN, NFS/SMB, and storage performance tuning, along with ITIL-informed practices. Remote-ready and enterprise-scale experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in enterprise storage administration.
• Strong hands on expertise with EMC Isilon (OneFS, NAS, performance)
• Experience with EMC PowerVault (ME4/ME5, RAID/LUN) and EMC PowerFlex (SDS/SDC/SVM)
• Solid understanding of NFS/SMB, SAN (FC, iSCSI), RAID concepts, storage tiering
• Experience with performance分析 tools and storage monitoring systems
• Familiarity with VMware integration
• Dell EMC certifications such as EMCTA, EMCSA, Isilon/PowerScale, PowerFlex preferred

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy storage solutions using Isilon, PowerVault, PowerFlex.

• Implement and manage data protection workflows: snapshots, replication, DR plans.
• Ensure DR readiness, perform failover/failback tests, validate resilience.
• Troubleshoot storage incidents, bottlenecks, and access issues.
• Coordinate with Dell EMC support for firmware upgrades and complex issues.
• Create and maintain topology diagrams, SOPs, and configuration guides.
• Enforce storage security practices and regulatory compliance.

• Storage Operations Administration.
• Manage, maintain, and optimize EMC Isilon scale out NAS clusters, including SmartPools, SmartConnect, data protection policies, and NFS/SMB services.
• Administer and support PowerVault SAN/NAS environments, including provisioning, RAID configuration, LUN management, and performance tuning.
• Oversee PowerFlex infrastructure including managing storage pools, volumes, and SDS/SDC/SVM components.
• Perform day to day monitoring of storage capacity, performance metrics, and health.
• Implement and maintain storage tiering, replication, and snapshot policies.

    • Work with Dell EMC support for firmware upgrades, and complex issue resolution.
    • Create and maintain documentation including topology diagrams, SOPs, and configuration guides.
  • Security Compliance
    • Enforce storage security best practices including access controls, encryption, and auditing.
    • Ensure storage environment adheres to compliance standards.

  Required Skills and Experience

  • 510+ years of experience in enterprise storage administration.
  • Strong hands on expertise with:
    • EMC Isilon (OneFS management, scale out NAS, performance tuning)
    • EMC PowerVault (ME4/ME5 series preferred, SAN/NAS architecture, RAID/LUN management)
    • EMC PowerFlex (SDS/SDC/SVM components, cluster management, REST API, performance tuning)
  • Solid understanding of:
    • NFS and SMB protocols
    • SAN technologies (FC, iSCSI)
    • RAID concepts and storage tiering
    • Experience with performance analysis tools and storage monitoring systems.
    • Knowledge of virtualization/storage integration (VMware).
  • Good to have :
    • Dell EMC certifications such as:
      • EMCTA
      • EMCSA
      • Implementation Engineer Isilon/PowerScale
      • Dell EMC Proven Professional PowerFlex
    • Familiarity with enterprise data centers, networking fundamentals, and ITIL processes.
  • Soft Skills:
