Responsibilities
- Be a part of the initial team to define and set up a best-in-class Digital platform for the Enterprise Work real-time with product managers and engineering teams on test design and implementation, evaluate testability of new features/implementations. Define strategy for system level testing and test optimization.
- Create and maintain excellent test plans, test cases/test protocol, requirements traceability, automated tests, and test reports. Identify use case-based test cases, E2E test cases, System test cases.
- Communicate testing and product quality status to various levels of the organization. Drive communication and consistently deliver accurate product quality snapshots for stakeholders.
- Perform ad-hoc and exploratory tests to find defects before the product is in the hands of users. Follow up on defects and regressions to improve product quality and provide input on factors that influence product excellence (Focused Utility, Simple Design).
- Perform accessibility, internationalization, and localization testing as needed. Find and thoroughly report bugs, track fixes, and verify bug fixes.
Must-have Skills
- Strong experience in AEM QA, automation of web-based applications especially finance or commerce related domains; strong experience in working in cloud (AWS, Azure, etc.) environment and relevant distributed architecture using microservices; experience in designing data, keyword-driven or hybrid test automation frameworks; experience in UI automation using Selenium; experience with API (REST/SOAP) and/or performance testing; experience building automation frameworks and/or test infrastructure from scratch.
- Design, implement and automate test scripts; experience in database testing and messaging queues; experience in testing of API/Web services; experience on REST, SOAP, WSDL, end-to-end testing; knowledge of virtualization tools.
- Exposure to testing in platforms/OS/servers (e.g., Windows Server, Linux/Unix, J2EE, IIS, Apache, Tomcat, etc.); experience with build tools like Maven, ANT or similar; CI/CD tools – Jenkins or similar; SCM tools – Git or similar; collaboration tools – JIRA, Confluence etc.; IDE – Eclipse/Netbeans.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipeline creation and maintenance – from build to deploy to test integration; experience setting up and implementing test automation framework; good understanding of Core Java is a must; good understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies; strong in troubleshooting, deployment, and debugging.
