Expert Engineer, QA Automation.
Responsibilities
You will regularly:
- Design a modern automation strategy for microservices and distributed systems—scalable, reusable, and aligned with forward‑leaning architecture patterns.
- Build powerful API, integration, and end‑to‑end automation using open‑source tooling that validates real business workflows across complex systems.
- Master the nuances of event-driven testing, ensuring resilient messaging flows, eventual consistency, and graceful handling of retries and failures.
- Own performance engineering end‑to‑end—crafting realistic load models, simulating production traffic, analyzing bottlenecks, and driving optimization.
- Embed testing deep into CI/CD pipelines, delivering fast, stable, automated feedback while enabling shift‑left practices across the engineering lifecycle.
- Level up system reliability through observability, using logs, metrics, and traces to diagnose issues, improve debugging, and maintain quality across every layer.
Essential Skills
Qualifications and skill set needed:
- Bring full‑spectrum quality engineering expertise—from C#/.NET, Java, Selenium, and API automation to testing microservices and event-driven architectures.
- Strong data modeling skills across SQL/NoSQL.
- Hands‑on performance testing (JMeter/k6/Locust).
- Experience with Kubernetes‑based environments.
- CI/CD‑integrated automation.
- Observability practices (including Grafana dashboards).
- Excellent communication and multitasking ability to collaborate seamlessly across engineering, product, and domain teams.
Experience & Education
- 7-9 years of experience in QA Automation / Quality Engineering.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering or a related field preferred.
