Job description

This strategic leadership role is designed for a seasoned professional with 8 to 12 years of experience to spearhead the Data Analytics practice. The primary objective is to establish and drive a robust revenue stream by leveraging deep expertise in enterprise sales, solution architecture, and business development. The position is critical for expanding market presence in Mumbai and Kolkata, focusing on transforming the business from its current scale to a higher level of growth through the acquisition of new clients and the expansion of existing relationships.

Responsibilities

• Assume full ownership of the Data Analytics business unit, driving its strategic direction and operational success.
  
• Actively pursue new client acquisition while simultaneously identifying and executing cross-selling opportunities within the current client base.
  
• Lead the sales and delivery of comprehensive solutions, including Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, Advanced Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Generative AI, and Data Modernization initiatives.
  
• Cultivate high-level relationships with C-suite executives to align business goals with technical capabilities.
  
• Collaborate closely with delivery teams to translate sales opportunities into substantial, long-term engagements.
  
• Develop and mentor a high-performing team, building internal capabilities to support business expansion.
  

Requirements

• A proven commercial track record in originating and closing significant Data and Analytics deals is the primary qualification, taking precedence over specific tenure.
  
• Demonstrated history of scaling a business from one stage to another through personal sales efforts.
  
• Extensive background in Data & Analytics consulting, enterprise sales, and solutioning.
  
• Experience in building and maintaining a personal book of business.
  
• Location availability in Mumbai or Kolkata.
