Primary Homeroom Teacher (Grades 1 & 2) – CBSE

The Primary Homeroom Teacher is responsible for creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment while delivering the CBSE curriculum through activity-based and experiential learning. The teacher plans and conducts lessons in core subjects, supports the academic, social, and emotional development of students, maintains classroom discipline, and adapts teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs. The teacher maintains attendance, lesson plans, assessment records, and report cards, regularly assesses student progress, and communicates effectively with parents. The role also includes participating in staff meetings, professional development programs, school events, and co-curricular activities while ensuring student safety and adherence to school policies and child protection guidelines. A Bachelor's Degree is required, and a B.Ed. qualification is preferred. Prior experience in teaching primary classes, along with good communication, classroom management, and basic computer skills, is preferred.
