Pricing Advisor

Location: Onsite, primarily based in an HPE office.

Job Description

This role is part of the Finance and Corporate Strategy team and focuses on designing and implementing pricing strategies to optimize revenue, market share, brand positioning, and long‑term profits. The Pricing Advisor collaborates with Sales, Marketing, Business Development, and Finance to correctly position the product portfolio and establish pricing programs aligned with product and sales strategy.

Responsibilities

• Apply pricing principles and theories to limited‑scope assignments.
• Leverage professional concepts and prior experience to develop and analyze pricing models and proposals.
• Provide analytical expertise and recommendations to support team decisions.
• Make independent judgments within defined parameters.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop pricing programs aligned with revenue recognition requirements.
• Prioritize and monetize products initially offered at little to no cost, and implement upsell opportunities as products are repositioned.
• Monitor market conditions to maintain competitive pricing and market position.
• Direct the development and analysis of pricing projections.
• Oversee the implementation of pricing proposals across the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, technical/advanced university degree, or equivalent experience.
• Master’s degree is desired.
• Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Understanding of value‑based, dynamic, and competitive pricing strategies.
• Experience applying business and sales processing tools, systems, and practices.
• Strong quantitative skills and ability to analyze large datasets.
• Business acumen and knowledge of local markets.
• Mastery of English and ability to communicate proposals and negotiate at management levels.
