Job summary

Freudenberg Morinda in India seeks a Preventive Quality Engineer (Customer) to act as the quality interface with customers during development and launch, ensuring product quality across new projects. The role requires leadership across multiple projects and governance of APQP, DFMEA/PFMEA, and control plans.

You will drive risk management, process reviews, and launch readiness while ensuring compliance with IATF 16949 and internal standards. Track KPIs and lead corrective actions to avoid delays.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Automobile preferred).
• 5–10 years of experience in Automotive Industry.
• Knowledge of Quality tools and IATF 16949.
• Hands-on experience of PPAP, FMEA.
• Knowledge of MSA, SPC, APQP and structured problem-solving.
