Job summary

Sharda Motor Industries Ltd. in Nashik is seeking a tooling engineering professional to manage tooling operations, die documentation, and process improvements.

The role requires hands-on experience with AutoCAD and UG NX, with emphasis on tooling layouts, troubleshooting, and cost saving through yield improvement. The candidate will coordinate in-house and supplier tooling activities, maintain spare part records, and drive modifications to reduce rework and rejects while complying with IATF

• Trouble shootings knowledge various machining process like Lathe, Milling, Grinding Wire Cut EDM

Responsibilities

• Creating tooling operation process layouts, try-out and evaluating the same to identify and carry out relevant modifications efficiently.
• Maintaining the tooling activities Dies at In-house & Supplier end.
• Efficiently evaluated & suggested modifications in tooling process as per requirements.
• Reduce the rejection PPM due to tooling
• Maintenance of consumable spares part records at In-house & Supplier end.
• Reduce the rejection & rework cost due to tools.
• Press tool trouble shooting
• Preparing & maintaining all Die documents as per IATF-16949 standards.
• Improvement in yield (cost saving)
• Tool Line Monitoring, Copex & operational budget preparations.
• Hands on AutoCAD, UG nx.
