Job summary

HCL Technologies Limited is seeking experienced Pre-Sales Architects for its Hybrid Cloud Business Unit in Bengaluru, India. The role involves leading pre-sales engagements, designing robust infrastructure solutions, and driving RFP processes with stakeholders across the organization.

You will engage in technical discussions, present proposals, and demonstrate our cloud capabilities across private/public cloud, automation, and FinOps.

Qualifications

• Experience responding to RFPs/RFIs and creating solution propositions.
• Ability to present to clients and articulate complex architectures.
• Experience with pricing, business-case analysis and deal lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Solution Design: Develop and design robust infrastructure solutions that align with business goals and requirements.
• Collaborate with Hybrid Cloud team and Business Development Executives to lead pre-sales engagements.
• Own and drive the RFP process, including due diligence, solution presentation, pricing, SoW support, and proposal submission.
• Participate in deep technical discussions with customers with strong presentation skills.
• Demonstrate HCL Datacenter and Cloud capabilities.
• Define and implement infrastructure architecture strategies, standards and best practices.
• Lead infrastructure projects from inception to completion within budget.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior architects and engineering teams.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies; stay updated with industry trends.

We at HCLTech seek to recruit experienced PreSales Architects to join our Hybrid Cloud Business Unit. In this role, you will join a skilled team of Solution Architects whose primary responsibility is to support our sales teams in developing best-in-class and innovative technology-centric solutions across the Data Center and Cloud portfolio.We are looking for candidates with proven experience in responding to RFP / RFIs, solution creation, client interactions and presentations, pricing, business case analysis, and deal lifecycle management.

Key expertise should include managed services, servers/storage/backup modernization, hyper-converged infrastructure, software-defined DC, private/public cloud automation, cloud assessment, cloud migration and transformation, cloud operations, FinOps, and a good understanding of PaaS and containers.

Key Responsibilities

• Solution Design: Develop and design robust infrastructure solutions that align with business goals and requirements.
• To collaborate with the key stakeholders across the Hybrid Cloud practice and Business Development Executives within HCL Technologies to effectively lead the aligned pre-sales engagements to success
• Own and drive the RFP process, including due diligence, solution presentation, pricing creation, internal stakeholder discussions, SoW support, and proposal submission.
• Candidate should be able to participate in deep technical discussions with customers with good presentation/articulation skills
• Demonstrate HCL Datacenter and Cloud capabilities
• Demonstrate architectural best practices across technologies to solve Client problems, articulate views/roadmaps for future infrastructure operations
• Architecture Strategy: Define and implement infrastructure architecture strategies, standards, and best practices.
• Project Management: Lead infrastructure projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget.
• Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior architects and engineering teams.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks within the infrastructure and develop mitigation strategies.
• Innovation: Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our infrastructure remains cutting-edge.
