Job summary

Esri India in Noida/Mumbai is seeking an experienced Senior Presales professional with 4-7 years of GIS experience to grow revenue in the Commercial Segment. You will leverage ArcGIS technologies and spatial analysis to solve business problems and maximize the value of geospatial investments.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of GIS and Remote Sensing concepts applied to business contexts.

Role Overview: We are looking for an experienced Senior Presales professional with 4-7 Years of experience who can help us in growing our revenue and customer base in the Commercial Segment. Technical Consultant focus is responsible for leveraging Esri technologies and spatial analysis to help customers solve business problems and maximize the value of their geospatial investments.

Location - Mumbai/Noida

Core Roles and Responsibilities

• Engaging with clients, delivering tailored geospatial solutions, and ensuring successful adoption through strong analytical, technical, and communication skills.
• Analyze client business requirements and translate them into scalable, technology-driven solutions, including data architecture, geospatial workflows, and enterprise IT integrations.
• Provide guidance on data needs, solution design, and expected analytical outcomes.
• Interpret complex geospatial and business datasets using data analytics techniques, visualization tools, and spatial modelling, delivering actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.
• Provide consultative support to clients, ensuring effective utilization and adoption of ArcGIS platforms (ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Enterprise).
• Interpret and analyze geospatial and business data, delivering meaningful outputs to support decision-making.
• Act as a trusted advisor, managing customer relationships, handling queries, and ensuring high customer satisfaction.

Desired Skillset:

• Strong understanding of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Remote Sensing concepts, with the ability to apply them in real-world business and enterprise IT scenarios.
• Hands-on experience with product suite, including: ArcGIS ProArcGIS Online and/or ArcGIS EnterpriseProgramming language (e.g. Python / R / ArcPy)
• Proven ability to engage with customers, understand their business challenges, and translate them into effective Business geospatial-based solutions.
• Familiarity with data management, database systems, and cloud-based environments for statistical analytics and data processing.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the capability to articulate technical concepts clearly to both technical and business stakeholders.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to drive customer success and adoption of geospatial solutions.
• Demonstrated customer-handling and stakeholder management skills, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Esri Model Builder for workflow automation and geoprocessing tasks.
• Hands-on 4- 7 years of experience in creating web applications using ArcGIS platforms (e.g., Web AppBuilder, Experience Builder).
• Proficiency in publishing and managing geospatial layers/services (from various data formats) on ArcGIS Online (AGOL) and/or ArcGIS Server/Enterprise.
