Job Description

We are looking for a warm, energetic and passionate Pre-School & Day Care Teacher who enjoys working with young children and can create a safe, engaging and stimulating classroom environment.

The ideal candidate should be able to combine structured learning with play, stories, art, music, movement, sensory activities and hands-on experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct age-appropriate activities for Pre-Nursery, Nursery, LKG and UKG children.
• Prepare and deliver engaging daily lesson plans.
• Conduct activities involving art & craft, storytelling, music, dance, yoga, sensory play and outdoor activities.
• Support children's language, cognitive, social, emotional and physical development.
• Use play-based and interactive teaching techniques.
• Encourage children's creativity, curiosity, independence and problem-solving abilities.
• Maintain a positive, safe and inclusive classroom environment.
• Observe and document children's development and progress.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding children's development and classroom participation.
• Assist with celebrations, special events, field trips and school activities.
• Work collaboratively with other teachers and support staff.
• Ensure classroom materials, toys and learning resources are organised and maintained.
• Support the Day Care programme, including supervised activities, quiet/rest time and age-appropriate engagement.
• Follow the school's hygiene, safety and child-protection standards.

Required Qualifications
