Overview
The Pre-Primary Coordinator is responsible for the academic planning, implementation, and smooth functioning of the pre-primary section. The role involves coordinating with teachers, parents, and school leadership to ensure a nurturing, developmentally appropriate, and engaging learning environment for young children.
Responsibilities
- Plan, implement, and monitor the pre-primary curriculum in line with the school’s philosophy and board guidelines.
- Provide academic guidance, mentoring, and support to pre-primary teachers.
- Ensure age-appropriate teaching–learning practices and classroom management.
- Conduct regular classroom observations and provide constructive feedback.
- Coordinate lesson planning, assessments, activities, and events for the pre-primary section.
- Organize teacher training, workshops, and academic meetings.
- Maintain academic records, reports, and documentation.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and concerns.
- Ensure child safety, hygiene, and a positive learning environment.
- Support admissions, orientations, and school events related to pre-primary.
Qualifications & Experience
- Graduate / Postgraduate in Education or relevant field (NTT / ECCE / B.Ed preferred).
- Minimum 3–5 years of teaching experience in Pre-Primary, with 1–2 years in a leadership or coordination role preferred.
- Strong understanding of early childhood development and pedagogy.
