Job summary

Power Bridge in Bengaluru is seeking a senior Network & Security Engineer to own end-to-end delivery of network and security implementations. You will lead a team of L1/L2 engineers, stay hands-on in complex customer engagements, and guide design discussions from HLD to LLD.

Expertise with Cisco, Fortigate, Palo Alto, and Aruba/ Meraki is essential. You will also drive automation, participate in workshops, and ensure successful handovers from presales.

Qualifications

  • 8–10 years hands-on networking and security implementation experience.
  • Proven experience leading a team of network engineers in multi-customer delivery environments.
  • Strong hands-on with firewall platforms: Cisco, Fortigate, Palo Alto.
  • Expertise in switching and Wi-Fi: HP Aruba and Cisco Meraki (Catalyst, SF/SG).
  • NAC implementation experience with Aruba ClearPass or Cisco ISE.
  • Security solutions experience with Cisco Umbrella and MFA.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end delivery of network and security implementations.
  • Lead a team of L1 and L2 network engineers and scale the practice.
  • Remain hands-on in complex customer engagements and escalations.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
  • Design and review LLDs from HLDs within 5 days of workshops.
  • Coordinate handovers from presales/solution-architect teams.
  • Plan resources across concurrent projects and manage site readiness.
  • Drive on-site workshops and design conversations as senior contact.
  • Build automation scripts and templates to scale deployments (e.g., 50-switch rollouts).
  • Conduct post-implementation reviews and obtain formal signoff on scope.

Job description

  • Own end-to-end delivery of all network and security implementations across the practice
  • Lead a team of L1 and L2 network engineers and grow the team as the practice scales
  • Remain hands‑on in complex customer engagements, leading advanced implementations, troubleshooting, and technical escalations
  • Provide technical leadership to L1 and L2 engineers by mentoring, reviewing solutions, and supporting them on challenging issues
  • Design and review Low‑Level Designs (LLDs) from solution‑architect HLDs, typically within 5 working days of customer workshops
  • Take handover from the presales / solution‑architect team during internal and external project kickoffs
  • Plan resources across multiple concurrent customer projects, sequencing work around customer readiness (cabling, terminations, site access)
  • Drive on‑site customer workshops, planning sessions, and design conversations as the senior point of contact
  • Build automation — scripts, templated configurations, deployment playbooks — to scale repeatable deployments (e.g. 50-switch rollouts)
  • Conduct post‑implementation customer reviews and obtain formal signoff on delivered scope
Requirements
  • 8–10 years of hands‑on networking and security implementation experience
  • Proven experience leading a team of network engineers in a multi‑customer delivery environment (System Integrator, OEM, or Distributor background)
  • Strong hands‑on with firewall platforms: Cisco, Fortigate, and Palo Alto
  • Expertise in switching and Wi‑Fi: HP Aruba and Cisco (Meraki, Catalyst, SF/SG)
  • NAC implementation experience with HP Aruba ClearPass or Cisco ISE
  • Security solutions experience with Cisco Umbrella and multi‑factor authentication
  • Strong LLD design discipline and ability to drive design conversations with customers
Good‑to‑Have
  • Experience with Wi‑Fi active heat‑map surveys and remediation
  • Scripting / automation for repeatable network deployments
  • Background from comparable system integrators (Frontier, Team Computers, SOIH, etc.)
