Job summary

Cluix is seeking a proactive PR Professional to shape the public narrative around clean-tech, water security, and deep-tech innovation. You will build relationships with journalists and influencers, craft compelling press materials, and drive media coverage across mainstream and tech outlets in India.

You will coordinate product launches, events, and executive communications, while monitoring media trends and managing crisis communications.

Description: CLUIX is looking for a proactive, articulate, and well-connected PR Professional (Public Relations & Corporate Communications) to shape our public narrative, amplify brand visibility, and build strong relationships with media, industry influencers, and institutional partners. You will champion CLUIX's mission in clean-tech, water security, and deep-tech innovation across mainstream news, tech media, podcasts, and digital channels.

About the Role

• Develop and execute comprehensive PR, media relations, and corporate communications strategies.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with journalists, editors, clean-tech reporters, and media publications across print, digital, and broadcast.
• Draft compelling press releases, media kits, thought leadership articles, op-eds, company announcements, and executive speaking notes.
• Identify and secure high-profile media coverage, founder interviews, award nominations, speaking opportunities, and industry panels.
• Coordinate media engagements, press briefings, product launches, exhibitions, and public affairs events.
• Monitor media coverage, industry trends, and brand sentiment, delivering actionable monthly PR reports and ROI analytics.
• Manage crisis communications, brand reputation management, and public positioning strategies.
• Collaborate with internal marketing, social media, and design teams to maintain a cohesive, authoritative brand narrative.

Skill(s) required

• Proven track record in media relations, press release distribution, and editorial pitching.
• Strong existing rolodex of tech, startup, sustainability, environment, and business media contacts in India.
• Exceptional written and oral storytelling skills in English, with an eye for compelling narrative angles.
• Ability to translate complex deep-tech, environmental, and scientific concepts into engaging stories for public audiences.
• Agile, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a high-growth startup environment.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Public Relations, Mass Communication, Journalism, English Literature, or Marketing.
• 3+ years of professional PR experience in a reputable PR agency, corporate communications team, or high-growth tech startup.
• Demonstrated portfolio of secured media placements, published articles, and successful press campaigns.
