We are seeking an experienced and proactive PPC Team Lead to oversee our Pay-Per-Click operations and manage a team of PPC specialists. The ideal candidate will be responsible for daily task prioritization, team workload management, client communication, and performance oversight across multiple accounts. You will act as the key coordination point between the PPC team, management, and clients ensuring deadlines are met, campaigns are optimized, and client expectations are consistently exceeded, all while mentoring team members and driving operational efficiency.

Daily Priority & Task Management
  • Review all client emails to understand new requirements, questions, approvals, issues, and urgent requests.
  • Review ClickUp and Teamwork for priority tasks and requirements, including tasks assigned or highlighted by leadership.
  • Review decisions and action items from previous meetings.
  • Determine daily and upcoming priorities based on urgency, client impact, deadlines, and team capacity.
  • Plan and allocate tasks to ensure critical work is completed first.
  • Balance client work, new projects, internal requirements, and upcoming deadlines without affecting existing client accounts.
PPC Team Management & Operations
  • Conduct PPC operations meetings to review team priorities, pending work, deadlines, and client requirements.
  • Assign tasks to individual PPC team members based on priority, workload, expertise, and deadlines.
  • Monitor overall team workload and ensure responsibilities are distributed effectively.
  • Review pending work of team members on leave and redistribute or reschedule tasks as required.
  • Determine which tasks must be completed before leave, which should be reassigned, and which can be scheduled for later.
  • Ensure critical client work and time-sensitive deliverables continue without disruption during team members' absence.
  • Reprioritize tasks when unexpected leave, urgent client requests, or new high-priority work arises.
  • Provide guidance and clarification to team members on PPC-related tasks and decisions.
Team Reporting & Leave Coordination
  • Act as the reporting lead for the PPC team.
  • Review and approve team members' leave requests, including partial-day/short leave requests, as per the internal process.
  • Assess the impact of planned leave on ongoing PPC work before approving partial-day or leave requests.
  • Ensure appropriate work coverage is planned when a team member is unavailable.
  • Inform management when a team member takes a full-day leave or an extended leave period.
  • Coordinate workload planning around planned absences to ensure critical client responsibilities remain covered.
Team Communication, Blockers & Bottlenecks
  • Connect with team members regularly regarding critical projects, important decisions, and project status.
  • Identify decision blockers, dependencies, and bottlenecks that may delay work.
  • Understand issues faced by team members and help determine the appropriate solution or escalation.
  • Follow up separately on critical projects where additional discussion or decision-making is required.
  • Coordinate with relevant internal teams when PPC work requires additional information, access, technical support, or creative deliverables.
Client Communication & Meetings
  • Review and respond to client emails, ensuring communication is addressed within the required timeframe, generally by end of day.
  • Share new month's ad copies, image text, creatives, and videos with clients for review and approval.
  • Research PPC-related questions when additional information or analysis is required before responding to clients.
  • Coordinate internally when a client request requires input from another PPC team member or department.
  • Attend client meetings to explain account performance, campaign activities, recommendations, issues, and next steps.
  • Convert client meeting discussions into clear action items and assign them to the appropriate team members.
  • Follow up on important client requirements and ensure commitments are tracked through to completion.
Management & Cross-Team Coordination
  • Attend meetings with leadership to discuss PPC priorities, client requirements, upcoming tasks, strategic decisions, blockers, and next steps.
  • Translate decisions and priorities from these discussions into actionable tasks for the PPC team.
  • Keep leadership informed about important team-level matters, including full-day or extended team leave and critical workload concerns.
  • Escalate important client, team, or operational issues requiring management attention.
  • Coordinate with the Performance Marketing Manager to understand requirements, priorities, and areas where PPC support is needed.
New Client Onboarding
  • Coordinate PPC requirements for new client onboarding.
  • Collect and verify required platform and account access.
  • Understand initial client requirements, business objectives, and campaign goals.
  • Coordinate with the appropriate PPC team member for account setup and initial campaign tasks.
  • Identify missing access, information, tracking requirements, or other dependencies.
  • Monitor onboarding progress through setup and launch.
Monthly PPC & Creative Refresh Planning
  • Maintain monthly account refresh requirements within the overall PPC task plan.
  • Identify clients requiring new creative assets or campaign refreshes.
  • Coordinate image and video requirements with the graphic design and video editing teams.
  • Share creative requirements with the respective teams in advance.
  • Coordinate with PPC team members to ensure approved assets are incorporated into campaigns.
  • Plan monthly refresh work alongside regular account management so existing client work is not affected.
PPC Account & Performance Oversight
  • Maintain an overall view of PPC account priorities and performance requirements across clients.
  • Ensure critical campaign issues are identified and assigned to the appropriate PPC team member.
  • Support team members with campaign strategy, optimization decisions, and troubleshooting when required.
  • Review significant performance concerns and determine whether further analysis, client communication, or escalation is required.
  • Ensure campaign-related tasks are completed according to client requirements and agreed timelines.
  • Work closely with team members on account optimization, providing new strategies, optimization recommendations, and clear next steps for underperforming or priority accounts.
Skills & Characteristics
  • Proven experience (4-6 years) in Pay-Per-Click advertising (Google Ads, Meta Ads, Bing Ads), with at least 1-2 years in a team lead or supervisory role.
  • Strong understanding of PPC campaign strategy, optimization techniques, keyword research, bidding strategies, and performance analysis.
  • Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple client accounts, deadlines, and team workloads simultaneously.
  • Experience using project management tools such as ClickUp and Teamwork for task tracking and reporting.
  • Excellent client communication skills, with the ability to present campaign performance, insights, and recommendations clearly and confidently.
  • Strong leadership and people-management skills, including task delegation, leave coordination, and team mentoring.
  • Ability to identify blockers, dependencies, and bottlenecks, and drive timely resolutions.
  • Experience coordinating with cross-functional teams, including graphic design, video editing, and performance marketing.
  • Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail, especially around reporting, approvals, and deadlines.
  • Ability to elevate issues appropriately and keep management informed of critical team and account matters.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive, solutions-oriented approach to underperforming accounts.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for both internal team coordination and external client-facing interactions.
