Job summary

Sa Management Services in Pune, India seeks a Production Planning & Control professional to oversee shop-floor planning, capacity alignment, and cost optimization across casting and machining operations. You will coordinate with suppliers, monitor ERP updates, and drive efficient use of machines, materials, and resources.

The role requires hands-on ERP experience, strong analytical skills, and clear communication to align with business plans and departmental interfaces.

Qualifications

• Experience in auto components casting and machining industries.
• Plan capacity by ensuring supplier readiness for casting parts.
• Costing, price calculations, cost reductions, and supplier negotiations.
• Knowledge of casting, painting, and machining processes.
• Forecast production and SPD requirements as per business plan.
• Internal cost audits and self-audits.
• Quality requirements for casting and machining.
• Various costing processes.
• CNC, VMC, HMC machining knowledge.
• TPM and 16 basic losses knowledge.
• Procurement of cutting tools to optimize cost.
• Aluminum and ferrous casting process understanding.
• Planning and executing project requirements with departments.

Responsibilities

Job description

• - should be knowedge Auto components company casting & machining industry .
• - Ensure capacity availability at suppliers for casting parts.
• - Costing, Price calculation, Cost reductions & negotiations with suppliers
• - Knowledge of casting/painting/machining process
• - Forecasting of production/SPD requirement as per business plan for building capacity
• - Handling of internal cost audits & self-audits
• - Knowledge of basic quality requirement for casting & machining
• - Knowledge of various costing process
• - Should have basic knowledge of CNC, VMC & HMC machining
• - Should have knowledge of TPM & 16 basic losses
• - Should have knowledge of procurement of cutting tools for different sources to optimize the cost.
• - Basic understanding of Aluminum & ferrous casting process
• - Planning & Execution of project requirement, interaction with all related dept.
