Job Description

Responsible for designing, developing, and supporting business solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform. The resource will own the creation of Power BI reports and dashboards, Power Automate workflows, and Power Apps applications to improve operational efficiency, reporting, and business processes across Microsoft environments. This individual must demonstrate strong accountability, stakeholder engagement, and the ability to deliver solutions independently in a fast-paced environment.

A typical day involves collaborating with business stakeholders to understand reporting, automation, and application requirements, translating those needs into scalable solutions using Microsoft Power Platform technologies. The individual will spend time designing and developing Power BI dashboards and reports, creating and enhancing Power Automate workflows, and building or maintaining Power Apps applications that improve business processes and operational efficiency.

The role also includes troubleshooting and optimizing existing solutions, validating data quality, testing enhancements, and ensuring deliverables align with business objectives and governance standards. The resource will participate in project meetings, provide progress updates, document solutions, and work closely with technical and business teams to prioritize work and resolve issues.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on Microsoft Power Platform Developer with strong experience designing and delivering business solutions using Power BI, Power Automate, and Power Apps. They should have a proven track record of independently owning projects from requirements gathering through development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 4+ years of experience developing solutions using Microsoft Power Platform technologies.
• Experience working in enterprise environments supporting business operations, reporting, and process automation initiatives.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate directly with business stakeholders and translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Technical Expertise

• Advanced Power BI development, including data modeling, DAX, dashboard design, and report optimization.
• Strong experience building and maintaining Power Automate workflows and business process automations.
• Experience developing Canvas and Model-Driven Apps using Power Apps.
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 services, including SharePoint Online, Teams, Dataverse, and related integrations.
• Familiarity with SQL, Excel, APIs, and data integration concepts.
• Understanding of Power Platform governance, security, and best practices.
