Job summary

Luxoft India is seeking a Senior Power Platform Developer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise Power Apps solutions for a leading food corporation in Bengaluru. You will build Canvas and Model-Driven Apps, automate processes with Power Automate, and integrate with external systems via APIs.

In this role you will mentor junior developers, review code, and ensure governance and data integrity within Dataverse. A strong communication culture and agile mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience with Power Platform and related technologies.
• Extensive experience in building Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven Apps).
• Proficiency with Power Automate (Flows) for process automation.
• Experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio.
• Familiarity with Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
• Strong understanding of Dataverse schema, relationships, and data management.
• Design and optimization of Dataverse entities and tables.
• Knowledge of plugins, custom workflows, and PCF development.
• APIs and connectors for integration with external systems.
• Role-based security in Power Platform applications.
• Power Platform governance including DLP policies.
• Microsoft 365 (SharePoint, Teams, Excel) integration.
• Proficiency with integrating third-party services using connectors.
• Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
• Requirements gathering, solution design, development, and deployment.
• Diagnosing and resolving performance issues in Power Platform solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Solution development: Design, develop, and implement Power Apps solutions, including customizations, web parts, workflows, and integrations, using Power Platform, and related technologies.
• Collaborate with stakeholders: Work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and other team members to understand requirements, provide technical insights, and ensure alignment between technical solutions and business goals.
• Code reviews and quality assurance: Conduct code reviews, ensureadherence to coding standards, and implement quality assurance processes to deliver high-quality SharePoint solutions.
• Troubleshooting and issue resolution: Identify and resolve technical issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks, ensuring the stability and optimal performance of Power Platform solutions in production environment
• Technical documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, code documentation, and deployment guides, to ensure clarity and knowledge sharing within the team.
• Stay updated with industry trends: Continuously stay updated with the latest Power Platform and related technologies, industry trends, and best practices, and share knowledge with the team.
• Mentorship and knowledge sharing: Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to junior developers, fostering their growth and development within the team.

Skills:

• Proficiency in integrating with third-party services using custom connectors.
• Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
• Ability to perform requirements gathering, solution design, development, and deployment.
• Skilled in diagnosing and resolving performance and functionality issues in Power Platform solutions.

• Microsoft Power Platform Functional Consultant or Developer certification.
• Experience with Azure services like Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, or Azure API Management.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines for Power Platform applications.
• Advanced understanding of SQL and data modeling principles.
• Knowledge of ETL processes and tools.
