Role Description

The Power Facility Maintenance Worker is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai, responsible for maintaining the facility’s infrastructure and supporting reliable operations of power and utility systems. Day-to-day tasks include performing routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and basic repairs on building systems, equipment, and utilities. The role involves handling plumbing and carpentry work as needed, coordinating with external vendors or specialized technicians, and ensuring compliance with safety procedures and facility standards. The worker will respond to maintenance requests, document completed work, and assist in implementing maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend equipment life. Collaboration with operations and engineering teams is required to keep the facility safe, functional, and efficient.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess skills in Facility Management (FM) and Building Maintenance to oversee day-to-day facility operations and ensure reliable infrastructure performance.


• Candidates should possess skills in Preventive Maintenance to plan, schedule, and carry out routine inspections and servicing of equipment and systems.


• Candidates should possess skills in Plumbing to handle installation, troubleshooting, and repair of pipes, fixtures, and related utility systems.


• Candidates should possess skills in Carpentry to perform minor structural repairs, fittings, and general building upkeep.


• Relevant experience in industrial or commercial facilities, with knowledge of safety protocols, basic electrical awareness, and use of hand and power tools.


• Ability to read maintenance instructions or simple technical drawings, maintain records, and communicate clearly with supervisors and team members.


• Secondary school education or vocational training in maintenance, mechanical, or technical fields is preferred; prior experience in a similar maintenance role is an advantage.
