Job summary

First Source Energy India in Indore is seeking an Engineer (Core, Non-IT) to design and develop production-ready high-power electronic converters such as Buck, Boost and Flyback.

You will develop digital control algorithms, create PCB layouts, build simulation models, and work with dsPIC microcontrollers and their peripherals to meet EMI/EMC requirements.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience designing power converters (Buck/Boost/Flyback).
• Experience in digital control algorithms for power converters.
• Experience in PCB schematic and layouts for power converters.
• Knowledge of MOSFETs and gate driver circuits.

Responsibilities

• Develop digital control algorithms for driving power converters.
• Develop PCB schematics and layouts for power converters.
• Develop simulation models to validate designs for power converters.
• Apply EMI/EMC-aware design, grounding and shielding practices.
• Work with MOSFETs and gate driver circuits.
• Use modeling tools to design systems through simulations.

Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Developing digital control algorithms and techniques for driving the power converters.
• Developing PCB schematics and layouts for power converters.
• Developing simulation models to validate the design for power converters.
• Working knowledge of digital control techniques
• Working knowledge of programming embedded processors like dsPIC and using their peripherals like SCI, ADC and PWM
• In-depth understanding of PCB lay outing considering EMI/EMC emissions and filtering, grounding and shielding
• Very good understanding of MOSFETs and Gate Driver circuits
• Experience using modeling tools and designing systems through simulations
