Job summary

Weekday AI partners with a client in Bengaluru to hire a seasoned Power BI expert. You will design and maintain reports, dashboards, and KPI scorecards to deliver actionable insights for business stakeholders.

You will build and optimize SSAS/SSRS/SSIS solutions, connect to diverse data sources, implement DAX calculations, and collaborate with UX/UI teams to create impactful visuals and scalable analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Data Analytics or related field.
• Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate (Power BI) required or equivalent.
• Azure Data Engineer Associate or equivalent BI/SQL certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and KPI scorecards.

JobType: full-time

Experience Range: 7 to 10 years of hands‑on experience in Power BI, SQL, and PowerApps, including practical exposure to BI engineering projects

Key Responsibilities

• 1. Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and KPI scorecards to deliver actionable insights for business stakeholders
• 2. Build and optimize Analysis Services reporting models, ensuring compatibility with data warehouse standards and supporting both tabular and multidimensional models
• 3. Connect to diverse data sources, import and transform data for business intelligence, and implement advanced calculations using DAX to enhance reporting accuracy
• 4. Architect reporting solutions based on client requirements, translating wireframes and requirement documents into scalable analytics solutions
• 5. Implement and manage row-level security, integrating analytics with data governance, quality, and security platforms to ensure compliance and data protection
• 6. Optimize dashboard and query performance to efficiently handle large and multiple datasets, ensuring timely delivery of analytics outputs
• 7. Collaborate with UX/UI teams to design impactful visualizations, leveraging Power BI product capabilities for enhanced user experience
• 8. Engage with internal and external stakeholders to understand business challenges, deliver tailored analytics solutions, and ensure high-quality client outputs
