Job Description: Power BI / Power Apps / VBA Macro Developer

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled Power Platform & Automation Developer with handson experience in Power BI, Power Apps, and VBA Macro development.

Key Responsibilities

Power BI Development

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Build data models, relationships, DAX measures, power query and calculated columns.
• Connect to various data sources ( SharePoint, Excel).
• Auto schedule the power bi reports and publish the dashboard.
• Optimize report performance and ensure data accuracy.
• Enable report automation, scheduled refreshes, and workspace management.
• Work with stakeholders to understand business metrics and reporting needs.

Power Apps Development

• Build custom Canvas Apps, Model-Driven Apps, and Power Automate flows.
• Develop forms, logic, data validation, and UX for business applications.
• Integrate Power Apps with SharePoint, Dataverse, and other connectors.
• Troubleshoot app performance and connectivity issues.
• Document app architecture, versioning, and enhancement roadmap.
• Migrate manual/legacy processes to Power Platform solutions.

VBA Macro Development

• Develop and maintain Excel-based VBA automation tools and templates.
• Develop and maintain Excel Power Query solutions to extract, transform, and consolidate data from multiple sources
• Write macros to automate repetitive tasks, data transformations, and reporting.
• Debug and optimize existing VBA code for better performance.
• Integrate Excel solutions with external systems when required.
• Ensure macro security, version control, and user-friendly interfaces (forms, buttons).

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field (preferred).
• Freshers or experienced hands on experience with Power BI, Power Apps, and VBA development.
• Strong command of DAX, Mlanguage (Power Query), and data modeling.
• Experience with Power Automate for workflow automation.
• Proficiency in Excel (advanced) including pivot tables, formulas, and VBA.
• Understanding of relational databases, SQL queries, and data concepts.
• Ability to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Strong problemsolving and communication skills.
