Qualifications

Job Title

Power BI Developer

Experience

6 to 12 years of relevant experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, and ETL development.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Power BI Developer with strong expertise in Power BI reporting, Microsoft Fabric, SQL Server, OData integrations, and SSIS ETL processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing interactive dashboards, building scalable data pipelines, integrating data from multiple sources, and optimizing data models to deliver actionable business insights.

Required Technical Skills

Power BI

• Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, Power Query (M), and DAX.
• Data modeling, star schema, measures, calculated columns, and performance optimization.
• Row-Level Security (RLS), gateways, workspace management, and deployment practices.

Microsoft Fabric

• Microsoft Fabric Lakehouse, Warehouse, OneLake, and Data Factory.
• Data pipelines, dataflows, and data transformation.
• Familiarity with Direct Lake, Delta tables, and Spark notebooks is an advantage.

SQL Server

• Strong SQL programming skills, including complex queries, joins, CTEs, views, stored procedures, and window functions.
• Query optimization, indexing fundamentals, and execution plan analysis.
• Experience with SQL Server databases and relational data modeling.

OData and API Integration

• Experience consuming OData feeds and integrating data from enterprise applications.
• Understanding of OData query options such as $filter, $select, $expand, and $orderby.
• Knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, authentication, pagination, and API error handling.

SSIS ETL

• Design and development of SSIS packages using Control Flow and Data Flow tasks.
• Experience with data extraction, transformation, loading, lookups, conditional splits, and data conversion.
• Error handling, logging, package configuration, deployment, and scheduling.
• Troubleshooting ETL failures and optimizing package performance.
